I was born in Cambridge, Ohio but have lived in Florida since 1969. I have been married since 1979 to my wonderful husband, Charlie. We currently live in Lutz. We had our son, Matthew, in 1981.
I am one of the VPK (Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten) teachers here at Sugar & Spice. I have been a preschool educator since 1983. I completed my Early Childhood Associate Credentials in 1993.
I love my job working with Children! I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I have been with Sugar & Spice Preschool of Lexington Oaks since April 2011. I have worked in child care since 1982. I am experienced with all age groups from infants to school age. I also have experience in administration.
I have a beautiful daughter and I greatly enjoy working with children because it allows me to give children an excellent learning opportunity.

I am one of the VPK teachers here at Sugar & Spice. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of South Florida. I have been working in this field for over 14 years and feel right at home in a classroom.
I love teaching young children because they all have the passion and desire to learn. I feel that early learning experiences help children create a path to lifelong success.
I am from Tampa, Florida. I enjoy scrap-booking and spending time with my amazing husband Jason and our beautiful daughter Hailey. My favorite book is “The Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle. My favorite foods are steak, mashed potatoes, salmon and ice cream!

I am originally from the Dominican of Republic. I work with our infants here at Sugar & Spice. I have a bachelors degree is Social Work and have been working in the field for over 20 years. My passion is working with infants and toddlers, even though I have all the required training for all age groups.
When my family moved to the United States we settled in Rhode Island. While there, I worked with the Teenage Mom’s Foster Care and Adoption programs. In 1999, we moved to Florida where I obtained my Child Development Associates and continued working with children.
I really enjoy working here at Sugar & Spice because it's one big happy family.
